Jacee McLellan - 2007 BHCA Graduate

By attending Black Hills Christian Academy, it gave me the foundation I needed to go onto bigger and greater things in my life.  The teachers and the staff are always supportive of everything you do and will encourage you to do your best.  The students and teachers help you out whenever they can, and both will pray for you whenever you need it.  One of the best things about BHCA is all of the students.  Everybody is like one big family.  BHCA is a fun and safe learning environment with high academics and strong Christian values that I would recommend to anybody.

For Carissa, 2008 graduate, BHCA was a safe haven.  We watched her bloom under the guidance of her instructors.  They encouraged her to tap into her creative writing abilities and she is continuing to pursue that passion.

For Kirk, 2007 graduate, the opportunities for drama in school productions has moved with him into high school where he is very involved with the High School Drama & Music.  The academic excellence at BHCA has helped him qualify to attend Denver School of the Arts where he will finish his last two years of High School.

What we as parents loved about the school was the feeling of family and the nurturing environment.  Through the Biblical studies and Christ-Like character of the staff they learned to treat their fellow students with love & dignity.

Educating our children is a matter of discipline and dedication...not just throwing dollars at it.  BHCA has both discipline and dedication toward children's education.  We're thankful BHCA teachers uses phonics to teach their pupils.   Thank you BHCA and Mrs. Raad - my Pre-K son reads!  We look forward to our child developing life long learning habits.
